About

This archive aims to provide debug symbols for all packages in Debian. Currently, build daemons are running on the amd64 and i386 architectures. Packages are rebuilt with a specially crafted dh_strip command that extracts symbols from all binary packages. The resulting binaries are then matched against those found in the main Debian archive, and if they match, the debug symbol packages are uploaded to debug.debian.net. The debug packages are named PKG-dbgsym_VERSION_ARCH.deb.
